Blazer Jobs is seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist for a school-based position in Las Cruces, NM. This role involves working closely with students to enhance their functional skills and support their educational success.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students' motor, sensory, and functional needs.
- Develop and implement therapy plans aligned with students' IEPs.
- Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services.
- Document progress and collaborate with educators, parents, and staff.
- Support students in achieving greater independence in school activities.
Requirements:
- Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Active New Mexico OT license.
- Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
- Minimum of 1 year of school-based or pediatric experience.
