Caseload:
K-8th Students | Work with students in need of case management and teach relationship building
Part Time- 16 hours a week | 4 hours a day, 4 days a week
Job Details:
- Counseling: Provide individual and group counseling to help students with emotional, social, and behavioral issues.
- Crisis Intervention: Assist students during crises, such as family issues, trauma, or mental health emergencies.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' overall development and progress.
- Monitoring and documenting student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Providing support and guidance to teachers and staff on strategies for promoting communication skills in the classroom.
- Staying informed about current research and best practices in the field of orientation mobility.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in School Social Work from an accredited program.
- State License to practice Social Work
- NASW Member: National Association of Social Workers
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
- Experience working directly with students with behavioral challenges.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and other professionals.
