Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and provide therapy to students with physical impairments to enhance mobility, strength, and functionality in the educational setting.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with students IEP goals.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize student outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and services provided.
- Provide consultative support to staff and families to ensure accommodations and modifications are met.
Requirements:
- Education: Masters or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Licensure: Michigan Physical Therapy License (in good standing).
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a school-based or pediatric setting.
- Strong knowledge of IEP processes and educational best practices.
