Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time position in a school district located in the Richmond, IL area. We are looking for an SLP who is passionate about helping students develop their communication skills and succeed academically.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students in collaboration with educators and families.
- Provide therapy sessions tailored to each student's needs, monitoring progress and adjusting treatment as necessary.
- Document and report on student progress, maintaining detailed records as required by district and state regulations.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student learning and development.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss student progress and recommend appropriate interventions.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active Illinois SLP license.
- ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) is preferred.
- Experience working with pediatric or school-age populations is preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
