Occupational Therapist - Full-Time Opportunity (Maywood, IL)
Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapist for a full-time position at a school in Maywood, Illinois. This is an exciting opportunity to support students and make a meaningful impact on their educational experience.
Key Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy
- Active Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Occupational Therapy Endorsement
Position Details:
- Location: Onsite in Maywood, IL
- Work Schedule: Full-time, 32 hours per week
- Contract Duration: January 6, 2025 - June 3, 2025 (Spring Semester 2025)
Caseload and Responsibilities:
- Caseload: Elementary or High School students (specific assignment based on experience and preference)
- Collaborate with a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support students needs
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
- Implement and monitor therapy plans to ensure progress and adjust as needed
- Educate students, teachers, and families on therapeutic techniques and strategies for student success
